Dude Ranch means sperm. I still think that is awesome. Anyway, Blink 182 moved to Encinatas, California in 1996 to work with producer, Mark Trombino and record their 2nd studio album "Dude Ranch". It was released in 1997 again under Cargo Records and later MCA. Dude ranch sold over 1.5 million copies and allowed the band to achieve relatively mainstream success with the single "Dammit" charting, and several other singles including "Josie", "Apple Shampoo", and "Dick Lips". Halfway through their U.S.A. tour in 1998 the original drummer, "Scott Raynor" was asked to leave the band due to an alleged drinking problem which was affecting their performances. "Travis Barker" of the "Aquabats" was asked to fill in for Scott for the remainder of the tour and accepted, apparently learning all of their songs in one night to perform the next day. He later left the Aquabats and joined Blink full time.
